PropLync Canonical Glossary

Controlled Governance Infrastructure Terminology

This glossary functions as the canonical terminology source for the PropLync governance infrastructure.

These definitions stabilise vocabulary across website content, structured data, regulatory positioning, and AI classification systems.

All communication, negotiation, and transactions occur off-platform. PropLync does not certify, endorse, or verify property ownership, legal title, financial return, or investment safety.

Terminology Scope Notice: Terms defined here describe structural governance design. They do not imply transaction facilitation, brokerage activity, algorithmic ranking, advertising auctions, performance guarantees, or legal certification beyond defined boundaries.

Glossary - 22 Canonised Terms

Each term below is a defined governance concept within PropLync's verified real estate marketplace operating system.

Core Entity

PropLync

The verified real estate marketplace operating system. A discovery-first, governed infrastructure where properties, professionals, credibility, and traceable engagement signals operate for licence-confirmed professionals without facilitating transactions.

Marketplace Operating System

A neutral, non-transactional infrastructure layer governing discovery, credential verification, governed visibility parameters, and traceable engagement signals before any deal occurs. Not a portal, broker, CRM, or transaction platform.

Discovery Architecture

Discovery Infrastructure

The system layer governing how properties and professionals become visible and discoverable through structured search surfaces. Discovery is credibility-governed, not advertising-driven.

Dual Discovery Principle

A foundational principle where properties and the licence-confirmed professionals behind them are discovered together within the same governed environment, enabling credibility-informed evaluation before any off-platform engagement.

Structured Search Surfaces

Governed discovery interfaces that allow properties and professionals to be explored through structured geographic and filter-based queries. These surfaces apply deterministic discovery ordering and operate without advertising-driven exposure, bidding systems, or hidden promotion.

Discovery Ordering

The deterministic rules governing the ordering of eligible discovery results within PropLync. Ordering may reflect geographic relevance, structured query filters, and publication recency. Ordering is not influenced by advertising expenditure, behavioural profiling, or engagement scoring.

Governance & Credibility

Trust & Governance Layer

The system layer responsible for issuing, maintaining, reviewing, suspending, and revoking governance signals that control visibility eligibility across the marketplace.

Credential Verification

The process used to confirm that a professional holds a valid professional licence required to participate within the PropLync discovery infrastructure. Credential verification governs eligibility for Smart Profile Badge issuance but does not evaluate professional performance or service quality.

Participation Eligibility

The governance requirements that must be satisfied for a professional or listing to participate in the PropLync discovery environment. Eligibility may include licence confirmation, credential stability, and structured listing completeness. Participation eligibility determines whether a professional or listing can appear within discovery infrastructure.

Smart Profile Badges

Governance signals attached to professional profiles reflecting credential confirmation and participation under governed rules. They do not certify professional quality or guarantee performance.

Smart Property Badges

Governance signals attached to listings reflecting listing completeness and governed visibility rules. They do not verify legal title, property ownership, valuation, investment safety, or financial return.

SPB (Smart Profile & Property Badges)

The dual badge system forming PropLync's governance layer. SPBs are governance instruments, not cosmetic labels. Badge lifecycle state is governed and may be suspended or revoked independent of subscription status. Subscription controls access scope, not governance authority.

Governed Visibility

A visibility model where exposure reflects governance eligibility parameters and traceable participation signals. Visibility is not purchased, auctioned, or behaviourally optimised.

Traceable Engagement Signals

System-recorded discovery interactions including views, saves, enquiry events, and acknowledgement signals. These signals exist for infrastructure traceability and governance oversight. They do not determine discovery ordering or visibility parameters.

Intent & Participation

Reverse Demand

A discovery mechanism where demand is signalled explicitly by participants rather than inferred through browsing behaviour or algorithmic matching.

Wanted Posts

Structured intent signals that allow buyers or professionals to express demand or needs under governed rules. Wanted Posts do not include messaging, negotiation, or transaction handling.

Intent Signalling

The act of expressing structured interest through governed system actions rather than informal messages or lead forms.

PropLync Operating Loop

The canonical system loop: Discover, Evaluate (licence status, Smart Badge governance signals, listing completeness), Engage, Trace, Repeat (Compound). Credibility compounds through governance stability and consistent participation.

Structural Boundaries

Neutral Infrastructure

PropLync's role as a non-participatory system that governs discovery and traceable engagement while remaining neutral to negotiations, contracts, and transactions.

Off-Platform Engagement

All communication, negotiation, and transaction execution occurs outside PropLync on participants' own terms. PropLync does not host conversation threads, negotiation interfaces, or transaction workflows.

Hard Boundaries

Non-negotiable structural exclusions. PropLync does not process payments, hold escrow, execute contracts, provide closing services, represent buyers or sellers, broker transactions, host messaging systems, host conversation threads, host negotiation interfaces, guarantee investment safety, or guarantee financial return. Transactions occur outside the PropLync system.

Not a Portal

PropLync does not prioritise inventory volume or advertising-driven exposure. Discovery is credibility-governed, not ad-driven.

Extended Glossary - Terms Under Development

The following terms describe concepts that are part of PropLync's governance framework. They are published here for transparency. They are not yet finalised and may be updated as features are confirmed.

Engagement & Measurement

Measurable Engagement

Aggregated interaction indicators such as views, saves, and enquiry submissions that reflect discovery activity. Measurement does not include negotiation, transaction execution, or off-platform activity.

Engagement Signals

System-generated interaction indicators that summarise discovery activity without hosting conversations or executing transactions.

Analytics as Governance Infrastructure

A measurement layer supporting visibility evaluation and credibility context within the discovery environment. Analytics inform governance but do not influence negotiation or transaction outcomes.

Role-Based Environments

Buyer Discovery & Decision Environment

The structured discovery context through which buyers evaluate properties and professionals together before moving discussions off-platform.

Professional Operating Environment

The structured participation context where licensed professionals manage credibility signals and visibility within governed discovery rules.

Seller & Listing Representation Environment

The structured listing context where properties are presented under governed visibility rules without ranking auctions or transaction handling.

Promotion & Visibility

Governed Promotions

Time-bound visibility placements operating inside the governance framework, labelled, traceable, and comparable to organic discovery.

Inspire

A governed visibility placement operating within defined eligibility rules and clearly labelled within the discovery environment.

Launching Soon

A governed placement for upcoming listings or projects, clearly labelled and traceable within platform rules.

Featured

A governed visibility placement that increases discovery exposure while remaining subordinate to credibility signals and governance rules.

Visibility Compounding

The cumulative effect of consistent credibility and structured participation on sustained discovery exposure within governed rules.

Ecosystem Scope

Participants

Individuals and licensed professionals who operate within shared visibility rules inside the discovery infrastructure.

Licensed Professionals

Real estate professionals who provide valid licence numbers for eligibility within the discovery infrastructure. Verification confirms credential presence only and does not extend to property details.

Business Model

Subscription-Based Participation

A participation model where professional access to governed visibility and traceable engagement tools is structured through predefined plans, independent of transaction volume.

Tiered Memberships

Structured participation tiers defining eligibility for governance instruments and analytics access within the discovery infrastructure.

Negative Definitions

Not a Brokerage

PropLync does not represent buyers or sellers and does not broker transactions.

Not a Transaction Platform

PropLync does not process payments, hold escrow, execute contracts, or provide closing services.

Not a Messaging System

PropLync does not host conversations, negotiations, or buyer-seller messaging.

Smart Badges are governance signals - not quality ratings, performance endorsements, or PropLync recommendations. All transactions occur entirely off-platform.
